Nancy O'Dell began her broadcast career as a reporter and anchor on WPDE-TV located in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. She later worked as the morning news anchor as well as a crime reporter at WCBD-TV. O'Dell's reportage in Charleston about the police's leniency toward DUI cases resulted in the State Law Enforcement Division investigating the incidents. Ms. O'Dell received the Best Report of the Media Award South Carolina by the Associated Press. After her time in Charleston, O'Dell worked as anchor for NBC's Miami Station WTVJ-TV as well as an investigative reporter. She then became a part of Access Hollywood to work as an anchor on weekends and weekdays. She also works as an anchor on Dateline NBC and NBC News Today. She has covered major events like The Oscars, The Emmys, The Grammys, and The Golden Globe Awards. In addition to co-hosting Pre-ShowArrivals in preparation for The Emmys & The Golden Globes. Her other co-hosting credits include the Miss USA pageant, and Miss Universe.
